CAF CONFED CUP: Dreams FC Hold Zamalek To Semifinal Draw

Dreams FC held Zamalek to a goalless draw away in the first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup Semifinals at Cairo International Stadium last Sunday.

The ‘Still Believe’ lads went into the game with high hopes after beating Stade De Malians 3-2 on aggregate scoreline in quarterfinals as they made history to the semis.

Zamalek who are a-house-hold name in African’s inter-continental football were favorite ahead of the fixture after thumping Morden Future FC 3-2 before booking a first leg home clash against Dreams FC.

Karim Zito’s side will be poised to make history when they host Zamalek in return on Sunday as they aim at qualifying for the finals of the competition for the first time in the club’s history.
