C/R: Woman Chews Off Trader’s Ear At Assin South
A 42-year-old Cassava trader at Assin “Bepokokoo” in the Assin South District of the Central Region, Akua Owusua, has horrifically lost his left ear following an intense brawl that ensued between her and one Kukua aged 39.
The victim, Owusua is currently receiving treatment at the Assin Anyinabrim Health Center while police are on a manhunt for the suspect as of the time of filing this report.
The victim’s husband Frank Armah explained to kingsjerseymedia reporter Abrewa Nana kwabena Tewiah Tik3se3 that her wife contracted an Aboboyaa rider to cart her goods from the farm to the market center.
In her absence, the suspect, Kukua convinced the tricycle rider to rather convey her goods before he conveyed the victim’s goods.
The victim, Akua Owusua who was not happy about the situation confronted the suspect Kukua and questioned her about the action and it eventually resulted in a heated argument and a serious brawl.
The suspect, Kukua in the cause of the fight bit off the down part of Akua Owusua’s left ear.
While bleeding profusely bystanders searched for the ear to reattach it but realized the suspect, Kukua had chewed it.
Multiple bruises and lacerations were also inflicted during the fight.
Meanwhile, the police have confirmed they have received the complaint of assault and causing harm. The case is being investigated.
