A fire outbreak at the Atebubu main market has resulted in the destruction of over three shops and goods Worth millions of cedis.

The inferno, which began in the early hours of Saturday (4/5/2024) around 3:20am, has wreaked havoc and the affected traders are counting their loses.

Despite the valiant efforts of the youths,the blaze continued to rage on .

The extent of the damage is yet to be fully assessed, meanwhile investigations are underway to identify the cause of the fire.

Unfortunately Atebubu Amantin Fire Service Tender is not working and due to this, resident used two tractors filled with water to quench the fire this morning.

Some the victims also called on government to come into their aid.

Finally the Member of Parliament for Atebubu Amantin, Hon.Sanja Nanja also console with the victims. He called on government to speed up to work on the Atebubu fire Tender.
