The 21-day limited voter registration exercise, launched on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, aims to register approximately 623,000 new voters, with a focus on first-time voters and those seeking to obtain a voter card. Despite the initial setbacks, the Electoral Commission has assured the public that the challenges have been addressed to ensure a smoother process moving forward.
Mr. Mahama urged eligible voters not to let the initial difficulties deter them from visiting Electoral Commission offices to register, emphasizing that their participation is crucial for change. The registration exercise will conclude on Monday, May 27, 2024.
