Residents in Atwima Yabi, in Atwima Kwanw oma District of the Ashanti Region are living in fear due to thugs attack on residents and destroyed several properties.

Residents disclose their displeasure of the situation that, they now live in the state of terrorists because Thugs and macho men are harassing them, and have even mounted barriers at some part of the community indeed our lives are now in danger, Because they are all over the place, we can’t even go to farm anymore because they have destroy some of our crops and our farm items, so we are pleading with the authorities.

Speaking on behalf of Yabihene, Okyeame Asiedu, appealed to the residents to remain calm, and said they have taken all the necessary steps and have engaged all the stakeholders in the security fraternity,

He therefore called on the overlord of Asante Kingdom, Otumfour Osei Tutu II and the government for immediate intervention to save lives and property.
