One person has been injured in an accident involving a Rav 4 and a tricycle locally referred to as Aboboyaa.

The accident occurred on Wednesday morning at Lighthouse Junction, a suburb of Dunkwa-on-Offin in the Central Region.

According to some locals, the saloon car with registration number AG 3915 crashed into the tricycle due to a malfunctioning break.

The victim was taken to the Dunkwa Government hospital after suffering severe injuries.
