Two bodies were discovered at Maame Krobo Nkwanta, also known as Takoratwene, in the Eastern Region.

The bodies are believed to be nomadic herders.

The situation has left residents in the area in fear.

A former Assembly member of the area, Mr. Kugbesika, confirmed the incident, saying that the heads of the two were severed.

According to him, other parts of their bodies were also removed by those who killed them.

He also mentioned that they had wounds on their backs that were presumed to be caused by gunshots.

He further revealed that one of the herdsmen had reported two of his missing brothers and went in search of them.

It was later discovered that the two bodies were those of his brothers.

The police were informed and have since visited the crime scene.

They have since opened an investigation into the incident.
