Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, the overlord of Wassa Amenfi traditional area and his sub Chiefs, showed their appreciation for FC Samartex’s impressive performance and historic feat by donating GHc100,000 and a cow to the team when the players and officials paid a courtesy call to the traditional council.

FC Samartex was officially crowned as the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League Champions yesterday despite winning the trophy with two games to end the season.

The lads pulled off a vintage performance in the last game to record a 2-0 win over Accra Lions to close the 2023/24 season.

Tetrete together with his sub Chiefs pledged their support for the African campaign, demonstrating their commitment to their continued success.

The Timbers Giants will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League in the 2024/2025 season.
